CBPR: Policy Analysis and Advocacy Training for Practitioners
Public policies have an enormous impact on our personal health and
well-being, and that of our communities. Community-based research
partnerships are uniquely qualified to devise and propose healthy public
policies. In this half-day training, CBPR practitioners will learn how
to design a policy change project from the ground up, as well as how to
use completed research to impact policy. The 2008 CBPR request for
proposals will also be reviewed at these events (and posted on the NWHF
website in July).
