To the Trauma Healing Project Community,
My name is Gerald Gonzales, and I am a counseling psychology doctoral
student at the University of Oregon (UO). This letter is to inform
you about a research study that I am conducting.
The purpose of this research study is to interview successful men who
witnessed parental violence as a child. I hope that their stories can
demonstrate contributing factors to success and resiliency, and,
consequently, the results can improve our intervention programs with
this vulnerable population and prevent future incidents of violence.
The attached flyer outlines the details about this exploratory study,
which has been reviewed by the Office for Protection of Human
Subjects and is supervised by Dr. Krista M. Chronister, Assistant
Professor in the UO Counseling Psychology Department. I would
appreciate it if you could pass this email to those who may qualify
for the study.

Thank you in advance for your time and consideration.
Sincerely,
Gerald
