Some of you may not be aware that EWEB hosts a panel presentation on community resources that is free and open to those interested in staying current on community resources.
 
Of course I'm promoting it because I get to be one of the speakers this time.  Thursday, May 8, at 9:00 a.m. in the Community Room of EWEB's 4th Street building (by the Ferry Street Bridge). They even have some lovely snacks.

Hello everyone!
 
We hope you'll be attending our next meeting on Thursday, May 8, at 9:00 a.m. in the Community Room, which is located on the first floor of the North Building.  If you can't attend, please send another representative from your agency.  Also, if you materials to share, please bring at least 35 copies.
 
We'll have four special presentations, all centered on the theme of area services for children of limited-income families.  The speakers will be:
Rose Wilde & Traci Dennis - Department of Human Services
Jay Baughman, Program Manager - Committed Partners for Youth
Megan Friese, Executive Director - Court-Appointed Special Advocates (CASA)
Gloria Griffith - Springfield Family Center
Refreshments will be provided.
